On Friday, July 25th, my 4 siblings and I lost our father, and our family lost someone incredibly special, Andrew Serrato, who was 42 at the time of his passing. He passed away very suddenly due to health complications, and while we knew he was facing challenges, nothing could have prepared us for such a sudden and tragic loss.

Our Dad, Andrew, was a very loving, funny, and kind-hearted man who loved his children and family more than anything. Our whole family is devastated by his abrupt and unexpected passing. My Dad always cared for and loved us more than anything, and he always sacrificed his time and energy for the ones he loved.

After our Mom was diagnosed with cancer, our Dad took care of her until her death back in June of 2024. Even though her loss weighed heavily on him, he did his best and took care of us. Most of our memories of him were happy, funny memories of him making jokes and making us laugh, to him cooking and cleaning. Being around our Dad always made us feel safe and secure, and he made sure of it. He always tried his best and made sure that we were taken care of alongside my Mom.

I’m making this GoFundMe to help my siblings and me with our new living situation and to adjust to the loss of our Dad and Mom. We will also be needing assistance in legally taking care of our sister Tessa. Any donations or contributions will be going directly to my siblings and me and will be used for rent or any financial situations that arise due to our loss.
