My name is Joshua, and I’m reaching out to support my wife, Anataisa Wright, who is 30 weeks pregnant and facing a high-risk pregnancy. We have three young children, ages three to one, and this pregnancy has brought serious complications. Anataisa is experiencing severe swelling and fluid buildup around the baby, which could lead to another emergency C-section. She’s unable to walk, stand, or even bathe on her own, and the doctors are still searching for answers. Because of her condition, she can’t work, and I’m working two full-time jobs to keep us afloat.

Despite my best efforts, the bills are piling up. Our biggest worries right now are keeping up with rent, utilities, and making sure there’s enough food for Anataisa and the kids. Things have gotten so difficult that we’ve had to send our children to stay with other family members to make sure they’re safe and cared for. My hope is to get us back on our feet so our kids and our new baby can come home to a safe, stable environment.
