Support for Amazonian Indigenous Community
Donation protected
My dear family and friends,
Thank you for taking the time to view this page and for considering supporting my cause. May God bless you and your families during this time of great uncertainty and may you always find peace and connection.
There is a small community in the Peruvian Amazon, populated by the Indigenous Harakmbut people, for whom I have come to have great admiration and respect. Committed to the preservation of natural resources, ancient knowledge, cultural traditions and to caring for one another and for the world at large, they are an exemplary model of sustainable and altruistic living.

With quarantine orders in effect to prevent the spread of the pandemic, all ports of import and export have been closed, restricting their access to basic necessities and ability to earn money. The government, who offers financial aid to citizens living in poverty and extreme poverty, has not considered Indigenous communities in their aid strategies and is not currently offering any form of support.
It is my hope that with this offering, they may gather the resources necessary to protect themselves during this crisis, and emerge from it with sufficient funds to continue moving forward with their economic, cultural and educational endeavors.

Even the smallest amount makes a large difference! Thank you so much for your warmth and generosity.
Lots of love and all the best,
Stephanie
