Help Us Bring Our Daughter Home After Months in the Hospital ❤️

On January 31, 2026, our lives changed when my daughter was rushed to the hospital. What followed was a journey no parent could ever fully prepare for.

In February, she was on life support. In March, we faced the difficult decision of having a tracheostomy placed. On April 6, she was transferred to rehabilitation, where she has continued working toward recovery.

After months of hospitalization, rehabilitation, and countless challenges, we finally have a date to look forward to.

Our daughter is expected to come home on November 17, 2026! ❤️

While this is an incredibly exciting milestone for our family, bringing her home also comes with significant responsibilities and financial challenges.

I've spent months learning how to manage her tracheostomy, perform trach care, manage her G-tube, and prepare for the daily medical care she will need.

Our goal is to make her transition home as safe, comfortable, and smooth as possible.

Bedroom and home preparations: Creating a comfortable and accessible space that accommodates her medical needs.

Uncovered caregiving expenses: Helping with any nursing or caregiver costs not covered by insurance or other assistance.

Groceries and household essentials: Keeping our household prepared while adjusting to her return.

Lost income: Helping cover essential expenses if I need to take time away from work during her transition home.

Because we're still working with her care team to finalize her discharge plan, we don't yet know exactly what every expense will be. We'll continue updating this fundraiser as we learn more about what will be needed for her transition home.
