On the evening of Sunday, March 8th, my cousin Allyson’s family’s residence was tragically engulfed in flames. The fire severely damaged the upper floor of their split-level home, resulting in extensive water damage and smoke damage to the lower level.

Unfortunately, they lost a significant portion of their belongings, and retrieving what remains has proven to be a stressful and lengthy process. Her son has particularly suffered, losing many of his cherished stuffed animals and books.

In the wake of this unforeseen tragedy, their family has been forced to temporarily reside in a hotel while they endeavor to salvage what they can to endure this challenging period.

We are deeply grateful that they all emerged unscathed, and no one was injured.
