As many of you know I was recently hospitalized with meningitis.

It was a very scary experience, but also an opportunity to be diagnosed with an underlying autoimmune disease and begin to learn about how to manage that effectively.

This will come through a combination of medical interventions and stress management plans.

One of the primary stressors in my life has been transportation. My van (which was the vehicle that fit all my children) had the engine fail in March. Our other car also needed extensive work and we rely on it to transport Avery to/from Southfield making it unavailable for my commute most of the week.

I’ve been using the bus, my mom’s car and carpooling, but with the fluctuations in weather and timing it creates a lot of stress.

I am hoping to raise some money to put towards our saving for a new family vehicle.

It would mean a great deal to me and I think solve a major source of stress in my already very busy life.
