On the evening of December 19th, 2025, a tragic fire broke out that destroyed my extended family's home in Alhambra, CA. The fire was sparked by a freak accident in which a handicap scooter inside the home spontaneously combusted. Their uncle was not able to escape the fire, and sadly passed away. Of the three women who survived, one is currently hospitalized to treat injuries from the incident. They are in need of funds to help with medical and funeral costs, as well as housing, as they no longer have a home to return to.
They've lived in this home for a long time and have now lost everything they had apart from the clothes they were wearing when they escaped the fire. Their lives have changed overnight as they are not only in mourning but also uncertain about how they will have a roof over their head again in the long term. Anything you can donate will help a lot - both in the short term to meet any immediate needs for food/clothing and in the long term for them to have a place to call home again. Please share with your community to help us get them back on their feet after this horrific tragedy.
