Hi, I’m Edith. My father is Alfonso, and I am his eldest daughter. I’m hoping to get him and his family some help.

He called me early morning on the 31st of December saying his house burnt down. My father, stepmom, and little brother managed to get out with only the clothes they slept in and one cell phone. Everything else was lost: their home and two vehicles.

My father is the sole income for their family and with this occurring right after the holidays, you can imagine the financial stress this puts on him. He’s a hard worker and a simple man who values his pride, but in his biggest time of need, he could use all the help.

As a family we’ve managed to gather some clothes and basic necessities but funds are needed to help with other expenses as they try to rebuild their life.
