Greetings to all,

I am Adel Alajrami, aged 3, alongside my younger brother Omar, aged 2, appealing for aid for our family's plight in Gaza during these turbulent times.

Originally from Istanbul (Omar and I were born in Istanbul), we experienced years of security and prosperity with our parents. Eight years into his stay, our father felt the call of family and friends, prompting our return to Gaza just two months before the conflict erupted on October 7, 2023.

Our move from Istanbul to Jabalia in northern Gaza was meant to mark a new beginning, but the outbreak of war changed everything. Amidst relatives in our family home, we enjoyed a brief reunion with our cousin Adam, aged 3, before being separated as he and his parents were displaced to Khanounis. In contrast, Omar, our parents, and I found ourselves displaced to Rafah.

Now, residing in a desert tent in Rafah, life is tiring. Safety is a constant concern, and securing enough sustenance is a daily challenge. Both Omar and I have fallen ill due to the harsh conditions, causing distress to our parents.

We seek assistance to return to Istanbul, where we can rebuild our lives anew. Despite our father's efforts with the Turkish Embassy in Cairo and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our evacuation attempts were unsuccessful. Thus, our only option is to obtain visas for Egypt through Hala Logistics Services Company in Cairo.

Tragically, we find ourselves financially stranded in Gaza, unable to afford visa and travel expenses. Hence, we initiate this fundraising endeavor.

Any contribution to our GoFundMe campaign would be immensely appreciated. With your support, we can cover the necessary expenses and reunite our family in Istanbul.

The Hala office will assist in our departure from Gaza, covering travel expenses at €5,000 per adult and €2,500 per child, with an additional €2,500 allocated for travel. Furthermore, we require €17,500 for visas and travel, along with €35,000 to repair both the damaged apartment and car.

Therefore, our fundraiser goal is €52,500.

Ben Adel, bu da kardeşim Ömer. İstanbul'da doğduk ve üç yıl İstanbul'da yaşadık. Annem ve babam 7 Ekim olaylarından önce Gazze'deki ailemi ziyaret etmek için Gazze'ye gelmeye karar verdiler.

Ve bugün buradayız, çadırda yaşıyoruz ve 6 ay süren acı, korku, cinayet ve açlığın ardından buradaki yaşam koşullarının acısını çekiyoruz.

İstanbul'a dönmeye karar verdik ama hiçbir şeyimiz kalmadı, bütün evimiz yıkıldı, işlerimiz yıkıldı, hatta paramız bile kalmadı.
