On February 3, 2026, Adriana Otting and her boys, Garrett, Evan, and Cooper, devastatingly and unexpectedly lost their husband and father, Ronnie Otting.

Ronnie was the pillar of his family. He was a devoted husband to Adriana for 21 years and an extraordinary father to Garrett, Evan, and Cooper. His family was the center of his world, and everything he did revolved around loving them, protecting them, and making sure they were taken care of.

Heartbroken doesn’t feel like a strong enough word to describe losing Ronnie so suddenly. His absence has left an enormous void, not only emotionally, but in the everyday life he worked so hard to hold together for his family.

Ronnie handled everything. He drove to appointments and activities, paid the bills, managed finances, and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. He was the steady, dependable force behind their household. Adriana and the boys are now facing the unimaginable task of grieving while also navigating insurance, benefits, and the sudden loss of the person who carried so much responsibility for them.

Ronnie was incredibly well loved and deeply respected. He was generous with his time, his attention, and his heart. He showed up when people needed him, without question or expectation, and so many of us relied on him in moments big and small. He wasn’t just a friend to many of us, he was family.
