With heavy hearts, we share the tragic news that Abhi (Mohana Venkata Abhishek Sighakolli), a beloved and kind-hearted 26-year-old, lost his life in a heartbreaking accident. On 22 December 2024, Sunday at 3 PM MST, he drowned in the frozen waters of Woods Canyon Lake. This devastating incident has left his family and friends in profound grief. Abhi's body is currently with the Coconino County Medical Examiner in Flagstaff, AZ.

Abhi was more than just a relative; he was a cherished part of our lives. He came to the USA with dreams, hopes, and a desire to support his family financially. His family has faced financial hardship for over 15 years, having lost their business and relocated to a new city to provide for their children’s needs and education.

Despite these challenges, Abhi made it to the USA through the generosity and support of many kind-hearted people. He recently completed his MS degree and had been searching for a job. On the brink of leaving the country, his friends stepped in to offer financial support so he could continue his job search.

In this time of immense sorrow, we are reaching out to our community for support. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses, provide financial assistance to his family, and help them navigate this incredibly difficult period. His friends have confirmed that Abhi's medical coverage is expired recently and had no life insurance, either in the USA or India.
