We are raising funds to support an incredible family we met during one of the hardest and most hope-filled seasons of our lives — the NICU.
This sweet couple are new parents to a beautiful baby girl who has already shown extraordinary strength. During pregnancy, their daughter underwent treatment in utero for spina bifida. She was later born prematurely at 31 weeks and faced additional medical challenges that required an extended NICU stay.
Their family spent 98 long days in the NICU, navigating surgeries, uncertainty, and the emotional toll that comes with watching your child fight so hard so early in life. Thankfully, their daughter is now home and receiving ongoing care — a true miracle and testament to her resilience.
While in the NICU with our own daughter, Rosalee, we had the privilege of getting to know this family. Even while walking through their own challenges, they always showed up with kindness — asking about our daughter, offering encouragement, and radiating hope and love to everyone around them. Their positivity and compassion left a lasting impact on us.
Unfortunately, this family does not have health insurance to fully cover the significant medical costs associated with their daughter’s care — past, present, and ongoing. The financial burden is overwhelming, especially as they focus on learning how to care for their baby at home and giving her everything she needs to thrive.
We are hoping to lift some of that weight by raising funds to help with medical bills, home care needs, and related expenses — so this family can focus on what matters most: loving and caring for their daughter.
Any amount, whether large or small, means more than words can express. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or keeping this family in your thoughts and prayers is just as appreciated.
Thank you for helping support a family that has already given so much love to others, even in their hardest moments.
With gratitude,
