I never imagined I’d be making one of these, but life has taken a turn I couldn’t have prepared for. After my boyfriend broke up with me, everything in my life changed overnight. I lost my job, my savings, and the stability I worked for. I also had to move back home, over an hour away from where I had been living. All of my doctors and prenatal appointments are still in that area, and with my due date on December 15, I’m making long drives every week just to keep up with essential care.

I’ve been trying hard to find a job before the baby arrives, but the timing has made it almost impossible. Most hiring processes take weeks, and with me being so far along and only having 2 and a half weeks left, it is very difficult. I’ve even considered doing side work like food delivery, but my car—which has started having issues—just isn’t reliable enough to depend on. And since I’m so late in my pregnancy, switching OBs now isn’t really convenient, so these long drives are necessary.

Once the baby is here, it’s going to take time to regain stability. Finding a job while also affording childcare or a babysitter right away will be extremely difficult, and I’m doing my best to prepare for that reality. I want to be able to give my baby a safe and secure start, but right now, I can’t do that alone.

I’m reaching out because I truly need support to make it through the months ahead. Funds will go toward:

* Car repairs, so I can safely get to medical appointments and take care of daily needs

* Baby essentials such as diapers, clothes, formula, and other necessities

* Basic bills and living costs while I work on rebuilding stability and preparing to return to work when it’s safe and possible

I just need help so I can find stability and work a plan out during postpartum, but it’s almost impossible with everything that came into place.

This has been one of the hardest and most overwhelming seasons of my life. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for my baby, but at this point, I truly need help. Any support—donations, shares, or even kind words—means more than I can express.
