On Father’s Day this year, my world changed forever. Evil people came to my home and threatened my family’s lives while my baby boy was only 3 months old. In that terrifying moment, my husband had to defend us. The threats ended in tragedy, and my husband is now awaiting trial in county jail.

In a single day, I lost my husband, my home, my peace of mind, and the business I worked so hard to build. I had to close my spa, where I once made a good living, and leave the state because ongoing threats put me and my baby in danger. Starting over with nothing has been overwhelming.

I’ve spent the last three months using all of my savings just to survive. I’m now nearly out of resources, with credit cards almost maxed out, and trying my best to keep us afloat. I’m waiting on my professional massage therapy and esthetics licenses to transfer to this new state so I can return to the career I love. Until then, I’ve been working as a waitress to cover the basics.

This has been the most difficult chapter of my life, and I’m doing everything I can to hold on for my little boy. I’m asking for help to bridge the gap until I can work in my profession again. Your support will help me cover rent, food, baby expenses, and keep us stable while we rebuild.
