In just a matter of a couple of months my dear friend Carrie experienced the unimaginable — losing both her beloved father and her husband a month apart.( As well as her two daughters losing their grandfather and father.) These back-to-back tragedies have left her not only grieving deeply but now facing the overwhelming responsibility of being a single mother to her two beautiful daughters (Makenna and Scarlet)— one in elementary school and one who just began high school.

Carrie has always been a strong, loving, and devoted mom, daughter, and friend. Now, during what should be a time of healing, she’s also forced to navigate the emotional and financial burdens that come with such sudden loss.
