Hello, my name is Angel Rivera, and I am a single father living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been raising my children on my own for the past five years, doing everything I can to keep them safe, stable, and cared for.

Five years ago, my eldest son was assaulted by his mother’s boyfriend. Since that time, I made the difficult but necessary decision to take full responsibility for my children’s safety and well-being. They have been in my care ever since, and I have worked hard every day to provide them with a secure and loving home.

Now, I am facing a serious legal challenge. The courts are considering giving their mother partial or 50/50 custody, despite the history that led to me stepping in to protect them. This situation has been incredibly stressful for my children, who are already dealing with emotional and academic struggles.

One of the main concerns being raised is their performance in school. I made the decision to homeschool them because I truly believed the traditional education system was not meeting their needs. While their grades may not reflect progress right now, my priority has always been their safety, mental health, and long-term development.

I am doing everything I can, but I need help.

The funds raised will go toward:

-Legal expenses to ensure my children’s safety is properly represented in court

-Educational resources and support to help improve their academic progress
