This is a single mother of six who is currently facing homelessness because of serious problems with the home her family has been living in, including code-enforcement issues that have made the home unsafe and no longer sustainable for her children.

Her family has also faced significant medical challenges. Her grandson, whom she helps care for, was born extremely premature at just 24 weeks. He spent the first six months of his life in the NICU and PICU after suffering two brain bleeds and developing hydrocephalus. He has a VP shunt and has required multiple surgeries, including brain surgeries and GI surgery. His medical needs require continued access to appropriate medical care and a stable environment.

For years, this mother has been the person her family depends on. She has spent much of her life caring for and advocating for her family while dealing with medical emergencies, hospital stays, and repeated housing instability. Despite everything, she has continued doing everything she could to protect her children and keep her family together.

She has reached out to agencies, community organizations, churches, and other resources for assistance, but despite making every effort to find help, she has reached a point where she cannot resolve this housing crisis alone.

Right now, her family urgently needs help securing safe, stable housing and covering the immediate expenses of relocating and getting back on their feet.

We are trying to help a mother of six who has spent years fighting to keep her family safe and stable and who is now facing a situation where community support could make an immediate difference. She don't know the amount she needs at this point anything will help she is fully embarrassed by these circumstances but is very grateful for any type of help at this point.
