Aloha, I would like to share a story of a young man I had the pleasure of coaching. As a long-time baseball coach, I often meet kids that are shy or closed off to the outside world. This young man, with two left feet, struggled to keep up with the team and the high demands I set for him. He fought hard to bring his grades up and became a trusted outfielder for my travel team. Today, he's on the principal’s list as a straight-A student, plays volleyball, and is on the track and field team.

As a freshman, he has come far from the shy kid I knew a few years back.

Today, a fire took his home with everything in it.

All he has is the clothes he had on when he left for school this morning. Help us, please! Clothes, shoes, whatever you can help with.
