Support for Maria Elvia’s Family
Donation protected
On a Saturday afternoon, Maria Elvia and her children went for a walk at Stone Mountain Park. While searching for her husband near the lake, Maria and her children found a rock to stand on by the water. In a tragic turn, her youngest daughter Clara slipped into the lake. Without hesitation, Maria jumped in to save her, even though she did not know how to swim. The waters were deep, and both began to struggle. Her son Elvis bravely jumped in and managed to help his sister, but Maria was swept away and could not be reached in time.
Maria Elvia was a devoted mother and wife who always put her family first. She cared deeply for her children and husband, and her final act was one of selfless love and courage. Maria was hospitalized in the ICU after the incident, and her family faced difficult days hoping for her recovery. She leaves behind four children, the youngest only nine years old, and her husband, who are now facing an unimaginable loss.
This fundraiser is being organized to help cover Maria’s ICU and hospital bills, funeral expenses such as shipping her body to her home country. As this was her wish. This will also be use to provide ongoing support for her husband and children as they navigate this difficult time. Any contribution will help ease the financial burden on her family and honor Maria’s legacy of love and sacrifice.
