Support for 5 Siblings After Tragic Loss

From the family:

"Two weekends ago a tragic event happened where we lost our 16 year old niece due to a medical condition. She left behind 7 siblings whom she often cared for and was like a second mom to. My spouse and I have 3 little ones of our own and have been asked to take our blood relation nieces and nephews, meaning 5 of them, into our home temporarily as we have a stable home life. Though we are stable, it is a lot of adjustment...especially financially We will know more of the logistics in the upcoming weeks as social services have a better game plan and help everyone grieve the loss of the sweetest young lady!

For now, we are in transition to prepare all of their essentials. These children came to us with practically nothing, they have had no heat, little to no clothes, no running water and or electricity in the past 2 months. When we went to see the family after our niece passed, we had no clue this was all happening or that they were practically homeless. Their mother means well and has been trying her best but life took over and she is not able to provide at the moment.

They are the sweetest kids and deserve the world. We want to support them the best we can and could use a little help from our community.

All the littles could use a haircut, specifically someone who can do African hair ❤️ So if you know someone, pass us their info please!

The ages range from 5-15. We would be grateful for any assistance/help to bring these little ones more comfort, than we personally are already giving them. I know a few people have asked about financial assistance and anything monetary will be welcomed and used appropriately ❤️  

We would love for them to be able to do their own shopping at Gabes, Ross, Marshall's or Walmart to get clothing along with the essential hygiene products needed in a regular basis. I will of course be there to help them shop appropriately ❤️

If you want help with clothing donations, the children's sizes are listed below:

- 15 year old boy wears men's xl, shoes size 15.

- 12 year old girl women's small or girls 14/16, shoes woman size 6, 8 in girls.

- 10 year old boy is 10/12 or 12/14 clothing and shoes size 7 mens.

- 7 year old boy size 7/8 clothing, shoes size 2.

- 5 year old girl 5/6 or 6/7 clothing, shoes kids size 11.
