We are searching for startup funds for our non-profit that will focus on food waste and food security in the ARKLAMISS region of the US.

In the US, approximately 1 pound of food is wasted per person each day, which is equivalent to 30-40% of the daily food supply. The ability to save even a small portion of this food waste would significantly reduce food security issues in impoverished areas such as the MS Delta region.

Our initial goal is to secure funding to cover startup costs, including purchasing a used vehicle and trailer to help with food pickups from donors and deliveries to food pantries in the region.
