I am a parent at Flynn Elementary and am working with Alisa Wolf, our amazing school social worker, to raise funds to provide support to Flynn families who are marginally housed or imminently unhoused. There are two Flynn families that are losing their housing today (3/10/2025), and these funds will provide them with hotel rooms and food while they attempt to find sustainable and stable housing. Any remaining funds will be available to be distributed by Alisa to Flynn families in need.

Our goal is $10,000 which is enough to pay for a hotel ($100/night) and food expenses for the families for a month and a half.

This is our third campaign for funds for Flynn families since March 2024. Most recently, $5,000 was raised in the fall which went towards hotels for three families and emergency food and supplies for at least 20 families.

We are not running this fundraiser/disbursement through the Flynn PTA.
