So much has happened since the pandemic began, and while there are still so many challenges and uncertainties swirling around - there are also so many bright lights. One of our brightest has been how Flow's family of teachers - current and from over the years - have come together to create something magical and of service to so many.
Over twenty of our teachers and three full-time managers stepped forward in the biggest of ways to build a beautiful livestreaming class schedule (www.flowyogacenter.com/video) with almost 50 classes/week to meet you where you are. And while it's not exactly the same as being together in the studio, it's been so heartwarming to see and talk with you, and practice together in community in this way - and in so many ways we feel closer than ever.
We're so touched by your many messages of love and support as the Flow family works to navigate these challenging circumstances. We want to let you know that while this situation knocked us down - we are feeling determined, creative and committed to getting back on our feet, carrying our community through this and staying of service to you.
Many of you have expressed how much Flow means to you, and that you want to help. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! There are so many ways people have shared their support. Simply purchasing class passes and gift cards, keeping memberships active and spreading the good word to help keep our live-streaming classes full is far and away the best way you can support Flow right now. You can join and help there anytime at www.flowyogacenter.com/video.
Beyond that, we've started this fundraiser. This campaign was initially set up to help directly fund Flow's teachers and staff. All donations made before April 30th went solely to payroll. But, as the reality of the pandemic has expanded, we've had to evaluate needs more broadly - from our guests, to our staff, to the longevity of Flow, bigger picture. We've realized the need to expand this fundraiser to cover the essential expenses that keep Flow's doors open (we hope) through the duration of this challenge - including staff and teacher salaries, but also the new live-streaming tech, consulting support (to help us navigate all of this new territory), and costs needed to keep our brick-and-mortar studios safely in suspended animation until we reopen (e.g. phones & internet, minimal utilities, etc).
If your life has been touched by Flow and our staff, please consider donating - every little bit helps. <3
Our physical studios may be closed but our community can't be canceled! Thank you all so much for staying connected with us and for your continued care and support. We look forward to seeing you soon - online for now, and back in person as soon as we can safely re-open. Blessings!
