Support First-Gen Latino Students at Texas State

Hi, my name is Sergio Benitez, and I’m the Treasurer for the Texas State chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), a non-profit organization.

We are a student organization dedicated to helping first-generation and Latino students succeed professionally by providing networking opportunities, career development workshops, and real-world experiences that prepare us for life after college.

As a growing chapter, we are working hard to create meaningful opportunities for our members, including hosting professional speakers, organizing networking events, and providing resources that many of our students would not otherwise have access to.

We are currently raising funds to support:

* Professional development events and guest speakers

* Food and materials for student meetings

* Networking opportunities with companies and professionals

* Community and volunteer initiatives

Many of our members come from backgrounds where access to professional networks and resources is limited. ALPFA helps bridge that gap and gives students the opportunity to build a better future.

This fundraiser is organized by me as Treasurer, and all funds will go directly toward supporting the Texas State ALPFA chapter and its members.
