I've had Finn since he was 6 weeks old, and now at his ripe old age of 10 years, I'm asking for help for him. We have been traveling for the last few weeks from the West Coast on our way back to Cape Cod, and in our last few days, Finn got hurt. After taking him to two different emergency animal hospitals, it's been determined he is suffering from a slipped disk caused by intervertebral disc disease. The slipped disk is causing paralysis in his back legs; he can hardly stand, he can barely walk, and he's been on strict bed rest with exceptions for assisted potty breaks. The only fix is spinal surgery, which is so risky at his age with a long and painful recovery. I can't do that to this boy. After consulting with multiple doctors, we've determined that keeping him comfortable is all I can do now.

The money raised would be put towards his existing vet bills and his medications. It would also help get him a doggy wheelchair and wagon to help him with a little mobility.

It's hard for me to ask for help, but Finn is my world and we need our village right now. Any kind of help is appreciated more than you know, and Finn and I thank you so, so much.
