<div>I've had Finn since he was 6 weeks old, and now at his ripe old age of 10 years, I'm asking for help for him. We have been traveling for the last few weeks from the West Coast on our way back to Cape Cod, and in our last few days, Finn got hurt. After taking him to two different emergency animal hospitals, it's been determined he is suffering from a slipped disk caused by intervertebral disc disease. The slipped disk is causing paralysis in his back legs; he can hardly stand, he can barely walk, and he's been on strict bed rest with exceptions for assisted potty breaks. <strong>The only fix is spinal surgery, which is so risky at his age with a long and painful recovery. I can't do that to this boy.</strong> After consulting with multiple doctors, we've determined that keeping him comfortable is all I can do now.
