Fighting Pretty at Indiana University is a student chapter of the national nonprofit Fighting Pretty, founded by Kara Frazier. Kara began this mission to inspire strength, confidence, and beauty in women who are battling cancer—or who have overcome it—by reminding them that they are fighters.
At Indiana University, our chapter continues this mission by empowering students and the wider community to support women both in and out of hospitals through encouragement, outreach, and compassion. One of the main ways we do this is by sending Pretty Packages—care packages filled with inspirational items, small beauty products, and uplifting notes that remind women facing cancer that they are strong, beautiful, and never alone.
Our fundraising directly supports:
- Pretty Packages for women fighting or recovering from cancer
- Outreach events to spread awareness and connect with the community
- Supplies that allow us to make each package meaningful and personal
- Keeping our chapter sustainable so we can reach even more women in need
Every donation makes an impact. Whether it’s providing the resources to send one package or helping us reach more hospitals and survivors, your generosity reminds these women that they are fighters—inside and out.
Thank you for supporting Fighting Pretty at Indiana University. Together, we can carry on Kara Frazier’s vision and continue to fight for strength, beauty, and hope.
