A few weeks ago, a member of our community was detained by ICE, and now the family of 4 is being deported to Ecuador. The two children are former Dowling students and are being torn away from their Minneapolis community and friends. I am keeping their names/identity confidential to protect their privacy. In these times, it is so important that we come together to support one another through difficult times and show solidarity.

This money will be used to help the family transition back to Ecuador, start to rebuild, and deal with the stress and trauma.
