My name is Priscilla and I'm raising money for my brother Nick who was hit by a car last week while trying to aid two motorists that were involved in an accident. Nick is a special education teacher, father to four children, and dedicated husband. His family needs your help.
Nick grew up in Olney and lives in Olney still, with his wife and four children (now 3, 5, 7, and 10 yrs old)
He has dedicated his life to service and assisting others. Nick has worked in education for twenty years, mostly with special education children. He now works as a special education teacher in PG County. In addition to working full-time for PG County schools, Nick works on an hourly basis as a driving instructor in Rockville to provide for his family. Nick is a devout Catholic at St. Peters Parish in Olney: He is an active member in weekly services and has taught School of Religion classes for years.
On the night of Thursday, March 12, Nick was driving home on Georgia Ave., when he saw a terrible car accident that had just occurred at the intersection of Georgia Ave and the ICC (MD 200). There were no emergency responders on the scene at the time. Being trained in first aid, Nick stopped his car and ran over to assist the victims. The only responsive victim did not speak English, so Nick began to call 911 and report the crash while he stood on the sidewalk (off the street).
Just then and without warning, another driver crashed into one of the disabled vehicles. The second crash flew off the road and into Nick's head while he dialed 911.

Miraculously, he was not killed by the second crash, and was taken to the hospital where he spent the night.
Thankfully, he is now recovering at home and is in good spirits.
Nick has injuries to his face and head, having received stitches across half of his face. The extent of his injuries are still unknown and he is still being evaluated. What is known is that he will be unable to return to work in the near future. His family will face hardship until he is able to return to both jobs in his full capacity.
Nick's family is in this situation because Nick went out of his way to help others in need. Please help us show Nick that good deeds do not go unnoticed, by helping his family in this difficult time.
