House Fire Blue Haven

 

Last week on  Monday the  18/10/2021 at approx 9pm at Blueridge Drive, Blue Haven.

 

My Brother and his Wife, their 16 year old daughter and their 3 young grandchildren who are in their care permanently, which is a 4 yr old boy and 2, 3yr old girls, have unfortunately now lost everything. 

Due to electrical fault causing a fire in their rental property and not being insured with contents insurance,  they are now only left with their clothes they were wearing as they escaped thankfully un harmed minutes before the fire came through and parts of their roof came down.

This family are a wonderful and caring family who are first to help many when needed, it is devastating to watch them go through this huge loss and still have the strength to just continue on hopeful for their teenage daughter and grandchildren. 

We have had a great response from our community to which we can not thank enough with their kindness in donations with clothes, linen, furniture and other house items to help this family when they find a home to rent. 

We would love to further support this family to get back on their feet and help with needed funds to buy essential and personal items and to help with income lost while going through this difficult time.
