Our son Thomas is 20 years old and lives with profound autism. He is nonverbal and requires one-on-one care every day. Like so many families in our community, we face a constant struggle to find the resources and support needed to care for our loved ones. The waitlists for essential services—like respite care, food and supplements, guardianship, and women’s health—can stretch over 15 years, leaving families in crisis and without hope.

Through our work with T4 Autism, we’ve seen firsthand how many families are affected by this lack of support. Our social media outreach has reached over 40 million people, shining a light on the urgent needs of those living with profound autism.
