Understandably there has been a lot of focus on the frontline NHS staff who have been working incredibly hard to look after patients with coronavirus, however there are other people still doing their jobs who are putting themselves at a high risk - our bus drivers.

Before lockdown I'd take the bus to work each day and my route took me directly passed an NHS hospital so I know those drivers who were getting me safely to work are now at risk.

My understanding is that at least 28 London bus drivers have now died from the virus, which is terribly sad, and I'd really like to raise as much money as possible to help provide their families with some financial support at what must be an incredibly difficult time for them.

Please help by donating anything you can afford and I will find a way to get this money to them. Even if it just means every family who's lost someone gets one week's food shopping paid for, wouldn't it be nice for them to know we all care?
