Hi, my name is Abigail and I am fundraising to support my friend Faith Teem. I met Faith while we were both freshmen at The Crown College, and I got to know her very well while we were serving the Lord together in the the Northwest. She has always been a great encouragement to myself and others with her positive outlook and attitude toward life. Unfortunately, Faith has recently faced some great difficulties in her personal life. A few months ago, Faith found out that her mother, Ms. Wanda Hogan, had been diagnosed with cancer. The type of cancer that she has is the same cancer that tragically took the life of Faith’s father when she was in high school. We have been praying that Ms. Wanda would be able to defeat this cancer. However, the doctors have informed Faith and her mother that they do not believe there is anything they can do to help her. As of last week they have given Ms. Wanda 4 months to live.

Faith needs our help. Faith has been paying her own way through Bible college. She works two and sometimes three jobs every semester to try to pay her school bill. This summer she had planned to work full-time to prepare for next semester and to pay off the remainder of last semesters school bill. However, as her mothers primary caregiver she has not been able to work very much. She recently found out she may need to quit the job she has been working so that she will be available to take her mother to her many appointments and better support her during this time. I started this fundraiser to give Faith’s friends and family a more tangible way to help her during this time.
