On December 20, our nephew in Colombia Fabian was returning home from work and suffered a terrible motorcycle accident. He was in a coma for 2 weeks. We are so grateful that he survived, but the accident resulted in the loss of one of his legs. He is maintaining the highest of spirits and engaging in the long road to recovery with physical therapy and eventually prosthesis, but in the meantime both he and his wife have had to stop working to manage his care. They have two teenage children to care for as well.

Our hope is to raise funds to cover their expenses for the next year, so that Fabian, Joanne and the kids can focus on his health and recovery. Thank you in advance for contributing - no donation is too small!
