Support Ezra's Journey with Service Dog Training

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers —

We’re reaching out with a heartfelt request for support. Our amazing dog Nora has the potential to become a fully trained service animal for our son, Ezra, who really struggles with emotional regulation and anxiety stemming from his ADHD and autism. Going to school has been an incredible hurdle for him—we are trying a third school this fall and believe having Nora by his side would be a huge support as he enters third grade.

If you’ve met Ezra, you know he’s a special guy who absolutely adores animals. Dogs are his special interest. I believe Ezra can have more success at school, more peace at home, and more joy in the world with some help from Nora.

Nora has already formed a strong, calming bond with Ezra and professional service dog training will take that natural connection to the next level — helping him feel safer, more confident, and more independent in daily life.

Service dog training is quite extensive and costly. We’ve found a trusted program that will come to our home for personalized sessions spanning 9-12 months, but the total cost is $7,000–which includes comprehensive obedience training, public access certification, and autism service dog training. We are doing everything we can to cover what we can and get him started ASAP—but we could use your help.
