Christopher Miller was freed on June 21, 2018, after spending 17 years in prison for crimes he did not commit.  

Mr. Miller now has his freedom, but he still faces real and immediate challenges.  Because his conviction was overturned, he is not eligible for some kinds of assistance that would normally be available to people reintegrating from prison.   Also, contrary to popular belief, many people in Mr. Miller's situation never receive compensation for the time they spent wrongfully incarcerated.
