Hello, My name is Evelyn Francisco…I normally would never do anything like this but I feel like this will give me hope in starting this process, last year in January I found out I was pregnant, my boyfriend and I were thrilled, we were so full of love and excitement, unfortunately a few days later I started bleeding and having complications…after many ER trips we unfortunately found out that I was having an ectopic pregnancy (this is when the baby implants in the flopian tubes outside the uterus), ectopic pregnancies are life threatening and this also meant that my baby unfortunately was not going to make it, I was given a chemotherapy drug to stop the growth of my baby so my tube would not rupture, unfortunately a few days later I woke up in excruciating pain and was rushed to the ER to find out that my baby had gotten to big and my tube had ruptured causing internal bleeding all in my abdomen, I was taken into emergency surgery and had to have my left fallopian tube removed as well as my baby. Ectopics are not common and there is no preventing them, after many more checkups I was told that my right tube was healthy and in shape and I should be able to go on to have many healthy babies, flash forward to march 2025, I found out I was pregnant again, I was so excited because I believed I was going to finally have my rainbow baby and be with my angel again, right when I found out I was pregnant for the second time I went to labor and delivery at Akron general to make sure my babe and I were okay considering my previous ectopic, on the way to the hospital I was hit with terrible pain in my right lower side and I knew immediately that something was wrong, when I got to the hospital they did a Transvaginal Ultrasound and found free blood all in my abdomen, meaning I was internally bleeding and that my pregnancy was unfortunately ectopic again, I was taken into surgery once again and this time had to get my right fallopian tube removed as well as my baby. All I want in life if to be a mother, my only goal is to have my baby in my arms, I never thought I would survive my first pregnancy loss let alone have 2 in the span of a little over a year. After discussing with my doctor about my options, the best and safest option for us is to do the IVF treatment, as we are saving ourselves and do have health insurance the cost to get the treatment is a struggle for us, we are a young couple and brainstormed on how we could get this treatment going as quick as possible and thought it wouldn’t hurt to start a go-found me, thank you.
