Hi, my name is Evelyn Hamel, and I’m a student at Phoenix Middle School and i’m working on an impact project, which is part of my connections class. For this project, I’ve spent time learning about a topic I’m truly passionate about and am using that knowledge to make a difference in my community.

The topic I chose is suicide prevention because I believe it’s an important conversation to have to protect our teens and community. In addition to raising funds for the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation I'm also traveling to schools throughout the district to raise awareness about suicide prevention.
