Help Me Bring the Love of Christ to the Homeless in Los Angeles

Hello, my name is Evan Field. I’m a student at The Catholic University of America. This spring break, I have the incredible opportunity to go on a mission trip to Los Angeles, where I will serve the homeless population of L.A. with a group of 12 other students and our campus ministry priest.

During the trip, our missionary group will be involved principally in both street evangelization and working at various volunteer sites where we will be providing practical care, such as food and water, to the homeless. As part of our ministry, we will also be visiting and volunteering at Homeboy Industries (https://homeboyindustries.org), an organization that helps formerly incarcerated individuals and those affected by gang violence rebuild their lives through jobs, education, and community support.

Why Your Support Matters
I am reaching out to ask for your help in funding my travel, living expenses, and supplies needed for this mission. Your generous donations will allow me to bring Christ’s love to the homeless in a very real way—by meeting their physical needs and offering them the hope and dignity they deserve. I believe in the Catholic Church’s call to serve the “least of these,” and with your support, I will be able to live this out during my time in Los Angeles.

What You’re Supporting

  • Travel and living expenses for the trip, as well as supplies for our street ministry and evangelization.
  • Visits to Homeboy Industries, and other volunteer sites in L.A., to learn and serve alongside them
  • Opportunities for me to grow in my faith and share Christ’s love with others

No donation is too small—whether it’s $5 or $200, your contribution will help me serve those in need and bring Christ’s love to the most marginalized.

Thank you for your prayers, your generosity, and your belief in the power of serving others in Christ’s name.

“Then the righteous will say to him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you something to eat, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison and come to visit you?’ And the King will answer, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brethren of mine, you did for me.’”
– Matthew 25:37-40

God bless,
Evan Field
