(Español abajo) Early morning on October 30, 2025, Nelson, a loving father and hard-working husband, was abducted by ICE on the way to his construction job. He was detained, transferred across the country, and has unfortunately already been deported to El Salvador with no chance to say goodbye to his family. His wife, Ester, who is 28 weeks pregnant, and their 8-year-old daughter are now left behind to navigate the sudden trauma and uncertainty on their own.

Since Nelson’s abduction, Ester has been doing everything she can to keep their shared basement apartment home stable, and she is still working to help support her family. However, the circumstances have taken a heavy emotional and financial toll on the entire family. Their

daughter, who was incredibly close to her father, has been struggling with grief, confusion, and the disruption of her daily life while still attending school. Now another family member also has

a deportation order. Meanwhile, Ester is managing prenatal appointments, childcare, school responsibilities, and the stress of preparing for childbirth without her supportive and loving

husband. This close-knit family relied on the father’s income, and his sudden removal has left them without the stability they once had. With the due date fast approaching, the financial strain is intensifying. Rent, groceries, medical costs, and the basic essentials of daily life are becoming increasingly difficult to manage.

The situation remains uncertain and frightening, but Ester is resilient and she is doing everything she can to stay hopeful for the sake of her family. Please stand with this expectant mother and her daughter as they confront this devastating and unexpected crisis. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help support them in the coming months. Desde el secuestro de Nelson, esta Ester ha estado haciendo todo lo posible para mantener estable su casa de apartamento compartido en el sótano, y todavía está trabajando para ayudar a mantener a su familia. Sin embargo, las circunstancias han tenido un alto costo emocional y

financiero para toda la familia. Su hija, que era increíblemente cercana a su padre, ha estado luchando con el dolor, la confusión y la interrupción de su vida diaria mientras todavía asistía a la escuela. Ahora otro miembro de la familia también tiene una orden de deportación. Mientras tanto, la Ester está manejando las citas prenatales, el cuidado de los niños, las responsabilidades escolares y el estrés de prepararse para el parto sin su marido solidario y amoroso.
