For the past six months, I have been working with my Bible study group to support people experiencing homelessness in our community. Every Tuesday night, after our study, we would share leftover food with those in need. What started as a simple act of kindness quickly became a regular part of our lives, and we soon found ourselves buying food out of our own pockets to keep helping. We see firsthand how much these individuals need not just food, but also compassion and care from people who truly want to make a difference.

As we continued this work, we realized that food is only one part of what people need to survive and feel dignified on the streets. Many are in need of basic hygiene products like lotion, shampoo, and female care items, as well as essentials like blankets, socks, shirts, and pants. These items can help them stay warm, clean, and comfortable, and can make a real difference in their daily lives. Our goal is to provide these necessities and show our neighbors that they are not forgotten.
