Back to School Food Drive For Families Fighting Cancer

Hi, I’m Veronica Glover.

I’m a breast cancer survivor, a widow, and a woman on a mission to make sure no child has to start the school day hungry because their parent is fighting cancer.

Right now, many families in treatment are facing impossible choices—between medicine and meals, between healing and holding it all together. And with the possibility of SNAP benefits being reduced, the need is even greater.

That’s why I’m hosting a Back-to-School Food Drive on August 9, 2025 to support families impacted by cancer. These funds will help purchase groceries where community donations fall short.

Truth be told—I’d love for you to order directly from our “Fill Their Pantry” Amazon Wish List. So you can know exactly what was purchased with your hard earned dollars.

All families are thoughtfully referred by social workers from treatment centers—ensuring support reaches those in active cancer treatment.
