Selam Menesayat!

Last year, our community raised over $14,000 to support charitable causes in Eritrea. That impact reflects what we can accomplish when we come together with purpose.

This year, we are turning our focus locally to support the Eritrean Youth Mentorship Program (EYMP), a registered 501(c)(3) serving Eritrean middle and high school students across the DMV. EYMP is growing, and so is its impact. Through mentorship, programming, and community engagement, they continue to expand support for Eritrean youth through new mentor and mentee matches, college prep workshops, career-focused programming, and group mentoring opportunities.

This year’s fundraising will directly support the expansion of these programs, with a focus on college access, career readiness, and continued mentorship opportunities for students. Your support helps create meaningful opportunities for the next generation.
