Help Ericka Abigail Fight Stage 4 Cancer from Guatemala
My dear friend and housekeeper, Reyna, is one of the hardest-working, kindest people I know. She works multiple jobs to support her family back home in Guatemala, including her beloved 17-year-old granddaughter, Ericka Abigail Orellana.
Ericka has been diagnosed with Stage 4 papillary thyroid cancer — an aggressive and life-threatening illness. Despite the distance, Reyna is doing everything she can to help cover Ericka’s medical expenses, which include hospital stays, chemotherapy, medications, and travel to and from treatment centers in Guatemala. But the costs are overwhelming.
Reyna sends every extra dollar she earns to her family, sacrificing her own needs to make sure Ericka gets the care she needs. Yet with mounting medical bills and limited resources in Guatemala, the situation has become critical.
We are raising $30,000 to help cover:
Ongoing cancer treatments and medications
Transportation and hospital expenses
Basic living costs for Ericka and her caregivers
Emergency needs as her condition progresses
Every donation — no matter how small — will make a direct impact on Ericka’s fight and give Reyna and her family a lifeline in this incredibly difficult time. Please help this little girl in the flight for her life.
Please consider sharing this campaign with others, and if you're able, donating to support this brave young girl and her devoted grandmother. Let’s come together to show that even from thousands of miles away, love and support know no borders.
With deepest gratitude,
Katheryn Rice
