Support Erica In Securing a Divorce Attorney
Donation protected
For those that don’t know me, my name is Alyssa and I am Erica’s youngest sister. If you have made it to this page and don’t know Erica, all you really need to know is that she is a genuine, loving mom of 4 who would do anything to make sure her kids are safe. If you know Erica, you know that she is selfless, generous, and gracious. You know that she works every single day to give her 4 kids the best life they can have, consistently pulling all-nighters to make sure work is done or the kids have what they need. She’s not one to ask for help because she is strong, independent, and hardworking.
I have started this GoFundMe to raise money for my sister so that she can put a deposit down for a divorce attorney. She has accepted, supported, and encouraged me in every stage of my life and now it’s my turn to do the same for her. While she has continued to be a rock for everyone in her life, she’s at a place in life where she needs our community and support.
Without getting into too much detail, she has essentially been put into a position where she is currently having to raise and support her 3 youngest kids on her own with no financial or parental support from their dad. Despite the challenges, she makes sure they have a roof over their head, are fed, and loved every single day. Even with working countless hours every day, financially supporting the kids AND paying for a solid divorce attorney is impossible.
That’s where we come in. My sister and the kids deserve the world and I want to give it to them. I want to be able to raise enough money for my sister to hire a divorce attorney that will fight for them so that they don’t have to continue going through the heartbreak they currently are. My sister loves her children so fiercely that she was willing to sacrifice sleep and her mental health to put a case together and represent herself in court. While I believe she is incredibly capable and intelligent enough to do so, I don’t think she needs to. I want her to be able to use her hard-earned money to put herself and the kids in therapy, to be able to do fun things with them, to feed them, to get them their necessities.
A deposit for a good attorney in TX is around $10,000. All it takes is 400 people donating $25. Even if you aren’t able to donate, please send this to your community so that as many people as possible can see this. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for donating if you are able.
