Dear friends, family, and outstanding people of the community, this GoFundMe has been created for Eric Williams to assist him and his children with the care and support of their wonderful Father’s unexpected injury and the medical expenses and monthly bills. These include hospital stays, doctor fees, surgery, rehabilitation services, as well as monthly bills/expenses they will be navigating in the upcoming days, weeks, and months ahead to support Eric and his children.

Eric has always been a compassionate and caring person in the community. From his years as a Fort Smith Police Officer to his recent years working as an ER Nurse he has been a pillar of this community. On May 11th, 2025, Eric was involved in a motor vehicle collision cause by either a seizure or an arrhythmia issue with his heart.

At present Eric is in Intensive Care after suffering trauma from a motor vehicle collision as well as a potential heart condition. Medical staff has had him intubated and he will remain so until the day after his surgery. Afterwards he will require a 3-4 month recovery period and obviously will be unable to attend work.

Anyone who knows Eric knows that he is the hardest worker. He is the first person to jump in and help anyone at a moments notice, loves his family beyond measure, and his two children are his entire world.

We appreciate and are mindful that times are challenging for everyone but if anyone is able and willing to donate to support the family in this heartbreaking time we know it would be so humbling and appreciated by them. It would help lift the additional financial stress not to mention support Eric with the challenging road ahead of him.
