By now the town has heard the news of Eric Romero's passing on July 23, 2019. His death was unprecedented and completely unexpected. He leaves behind two children. His daughter Mercedes who is 9, and his son Bentley who is only a year old will have to continue life without their father. Bentley is going to grow up with only the shared memories provided of his father, and Mercedes is suffering from knowing the loss of her dad.

The goal of this GoFund me is to provide a future for these two wonderful children. Mercedes is currently attending Mount Carmel private school (on a scholarship), and is a great student academically. Bentley and Mercedes are being well loved and taken care of by his mother and grandmother.

I am reaching out to our town for love and support. It is going to be a long healing process for everyone. But at least together, we can relieve some of the financial burden on one of our own Carpinterian families. So please, whatever you can do, however small, however great, will impact the financially security for Mercedes and Bentley.
