Support Epic Martial Arts' Thanksgiving Basket Brigade

STARTING NOW, our school will be taking part in a national project called the “Thanksgiving Basket Brigade.” Throughout the coming month, Epic Martial Arts will be gathering donations. Our mission is to deliver complete Thanksgiving meals to 50 families in need within Woodstock, GA and surrounding areas in Cherokee County.

This project has two goals: First, to provide support to local families, and second, to give our students the valuable experience of helping others firsthand. Act Quickly - Time is Limited! This project will require the generosity of as many people as possible. We are counting on all of our students to do their part by participating in the Kick-A-Thon. Each student has a Kick-A-Thon Sponsorship Sheet in the packet. Their goal is to get with neighbors, friends and relatives to gain as many sponsors as possible before time runs out. Each student will then perform 1000 Kicks as a THANK YOU to all sponsors and to show our students through their hard work how big a difference they can make within our community.

The Thanksgiving Basket Brigade is inspired by a simple idea: one act of kindness can change many lives. But be warned—compassion and generosity are powerful! Don’t be surprised if you feel a warm glow from the joy of giving this Thanksgiving holiday.
