Hi friends, fam, and community. I'm Aileen, and if you know me, you know that my twin brother Eoin is one of my heroes. He's an independent tattoo artist who pours so much love into community — and I want to pour love to him as he moves from Los Angeles back home to Chicago next week (May 26). When you support this fundraiser, you help him cover costly essentials.

You may also know that we've spent the last year and a half caretaking for our wonderful father whose health has been rapidly decreasing due to early-onset dementia. Doing so has made saving impossible for Eoin. Your support with the intense cost of moving alone as a self-employed artist will make a huge difference. I do everything I can to financially care for my sibling and dad — and that includes asking for help.

Eoin and I believe that community is everything. We hold each other through so much. Thank you for taking time to read, donate, and spread the word. If we reach our goal, we'll put any and all funds above that to the Chicago Torture Justice Center, which seeks to address the traumas of police violence and institutionalized racism through access to healing and wellness services, trauma-informed resources, and community connection. The Center is a part of and supports a movement to end all forms of police violence.
