Hello, my name is Enzo Calo and I am a Life Scout working on my Eagle Project with Troop 125 here in Wilton.

If you don’t know what an Eagle Project is, it’s when a Scout works on a service project within their community in order to benefit it as a whole.

My project is to repair and install steps and a drainage system on an eroded section of trail at the Harrison Smith Preserve which has suffered from recent flooding and many rainy seasons.

These rainy seasons have created many large holes and divots in the trail that make it less accessible to hikers. My project would make the trail more usable and accessible and offer resistance against any further erosion.

In order to facilitate this project, I am raising funds for material costs including lumber, gravel, french drain materials, and food for volunteer workers. I would appreciate any donations you can make to help improve this piece of our town and make it accessible to all.
